Blogging light today, not much to say really. I'm getting ready to leave work and go to BW3's to hang out with the crew from surgery. A sales rep is taking the dept, he's covering the bill, so who can resist? Then after that I have to babysit then go home and crash! Long day to say the least, but I will get to have some contact with my friends... wee.

Well, I got a 3 out of 4. I guess that is good since they gave out no 3's. I disbuted one rating so she is going to check up on it. They will let everyone know in SEPTEMBER if you get the raise. And in OCTOBER, it takes effect. How crazy is that? I may/probably won't be here in Septemeber (God willing). I hate this place. ..

Well the last load of laundry is in the dryer (that is, the last load I am doing this week). The dishes are washed and need to be put away. I mopped the bedroom floor and the nursery! yay me! :) I need to vacuum the area rug in the bedroom and steam clean it. That would be awesome if I could do that tonight, though it requires me carrying the vacuum up the stairs which is a no no. Maybe if Erich gets home in time...
I just finished eating my Whatchamacallit and it was delicious. E and I bought a box of them at Sams Club this last weekend. Sounds a bit drastic, huh? They were only 34 cents a bar, and considering that I don't crave sweets nor do I think they are particularly great at the moment, I didn't see it as a big deal. Most pregnant women I have talked to have said that they crave sweets. Not me. I crave meat and SALT. Man, things aren't salty enough if you ask me. Yes yes yes, I know salt is not good for you or me or baby. But dang, it tastes so GOOD!
So much to tell! Well, my mom came over last night with a gift. **grin** She is so funny! :) I didn't tell her about the fall until after my appt yesterday because I didn't want her to freak out. She is also not fond of my doggies as of late. She constantly yells at Ella when she is over because Ella is always underneath my feet. So I carefully left out the detail that I tripped over Gracy. :) The first thing she said when she walked in the door is, What dog did you trip on? I said I didn't trip on a dog mom. She said I bet you did and your stepfather thinks you did too, so tell me so I can kill the guilty one. Heh. She's a quite to-the-point person, though she would NEVER kill a dog. Okay?
I talked with Erichs grandma and aunt last night (this aunt is in direct care of grandma and is her POA). She is doing fine. My MIL really freaked me out yesterday. She had her facts confused. So here is the run down. Grandma has been in kidney failure for years. About 30 minutes into her dialysis treatment yesterday she told the nurse that she felt funny and that something was wrong, the nurse asked what? and grandma passed out. She did stop breathing but as far as I know her heart did not stop. They took her to the nearest hospital and stablized her, then sent her on to a bigger hospital in Kansas City,MO. The diagnosis seems to be that she is in Congestive Heart Failure. She has a lot of fluid on her so they will be taking her to dialysis daily for a while. Hopefully that will help a lot and they will figure out a plan of treatment. I spoke with her on the phone and she seems to be in good spirits and doing well.
I am definitely feeling baby move. Last night I layed down on the bed to stretch and rolled on to my tummy for just a few to stretch. I felt a definite "thump thump thump." E said that baby is in there hollering "get off of me Mommy!" heh.
I still feel like there is tons of stuff to do around the house but I'm limited in what I can do. :( I can no longer carry clean laundry from the basement to the second floor bedrooms. I have to wait for E to do it. I am also supposed to avoid the stairs and especially avoid carrying things up and down, i.e. vacuum cleaner, etc. I did however get a lot of laundry done and folded and ready to be carried upstairs. It amazes me that one person (E) can generate SO MUCH stinking laundry. I swear I do more of his laundry then my own! I also steam cleaned the upstairs carpet like I have been meaning to do for oh about a month. :)
My FMLA request was denied. GMAC sent us money though which was a blessing from God. I was able to pay off a ton of stuff and get things off of my chest. yippee. The lady that offered me a nanny position will interview with the possible job on Thursday. Lets all keep our fingers crossed. :)
Rachel received her care package in the mail yesterday and I think she liked it. :) I made her a baby blanket, sent her some genuine homegrown Indiana Sweet Corn, 2 kiddie books, and 1 mommy book. :)

Guess I forgot to update after my appt. I'll make this quick because it is about to rain cats and dogs. Lost another 1/2 pound putting me up to losing something like 20.5 pounds thus far. Wowee. Baby is fine (huge sigh of relief) heartbeat is very strong and so loud! My baby is getting much bigger. He did a flop (she had the portable ultrasound machine) and it definitely confirmed that the bubbles and "flops" I'm feeling is baby moving. yay. Went ahead and canceled next weeks appt and set an appt for 4 weeks from today so on Sept 8 we will have an appt and an ultrasound to check cervical length (I had a LEEP this year so part of that organ is gone for good! eeps!) and hopefully baby will confirm that he is a boy and delight his daddy and disappoint his daddys mommy! lol I told her today that I keep thinking it is a boy and I have boy vibes and she whined, " but I want a giirrrllll" I wanted to say "too bad!" but I refrained.
Erichs grandma, who is already in kidney failure, went in this morning for her dialysis. She coded during it. :( They brought her back and she is in the hospital and they finished the dialysis for the day. They think she is in congestive heart failure, so we may be picking up to go to Missouri again. We'll see. More later.

Just call me Grace. Fell down the stairs yesterday. (i hear you all saying "again?") I was carrying laundry and my deaf dog Gracy was sitting on the steps. I didn't realize this and humpty went tumbling down. Cramping all last night so I called OB on call and she said as long as I wasn't bleeding to lay low. So here I am laying low, I'll be headed to the doctors after a bit to check for the heartbeat. I need to start taking better care of myself. I'll update later.

Not sleeping well. Feh. I find I fall asleep for about four hours then wake up on my side that has gone completely numb from shoulder to foot. So I turn to my other side and wake up an hour later in the same condition. I desperately long to sleep on my back which is not suggested and besides that it hurts. I get a funny pressure feeling on my tummy. I really really long to sleep on my tummy too, though that hurts just as much as the back. Maybe it's just the weather or something. It's to early in this pregnancy to have problems sleeping.
